1. Aren’t recycled carpet tiles dirty?

Envirotile’s carpet tiles are used, when they enter our facility they do so in various conditions. We have our own industrial cleaning and vetting system unlike any other company, ensuring we only retail quality tiles to you.

2. How do I fit carpet tiles?

Envirotile does offer a supply and fit service to it’s customers. However, laying carpet tiles is a relatively easy task for most people. Most importantly, please remember to account for offcuts!

3. How do I clean my carpet tiles?

Virtually all the carpet tiles that we provide will need a thorough vacuum. If you are wanting a deep clean we would advise that you hire a professional.

4. Where do the carpet tiles come from?

Most of our tiles are uplifted from businesses around the UK. Envirotile offers a collection service that it competitive when compared to simply putting them in a skip – do what’s responsible.

5. What does Envirotile do?

Envirotile is registered with companies house as a Community Interest Company (CIC). Envirotile’s missions is predicated on doing “the most possible good”. We take used and unwanted tiles that still have plenty of life in them, give them a good clean, sort and grade them before going on to a new home. We also provide work experience opportunities within the local area of Wirral, giving so many in need valuable confidence and allowing them to shine.

6. Can I get a discount?

Our aim is to sell carpet tiles at the lowest possible price. We work along side and within many housing associations and charities. It’s also worth looking into small grants when wanting to purchase our carpet tiles.

7. Do you charge for delivery?

We offer a free delivery service on all tiles. Most of our tiles will arrive within 2 working days of your order being placed. If you are wanting to place an order of a larger quantity this will usually take a little more time to fulfil.

8. What happens if I want to return a product?

Existing customer that is not completely satisfied and wanting to return your tiles? No problem, please send them back to us at your own expense and we will refund you.

9. Can I get samples?

You can order up to three samples for free! If you want to see more examples of our carpet, we can still send them to you, but there will be a small delivery fee. We highly recommend you order samples so you are totally satisfied with your flooring! Email us at info@envirotile.org.uk for sample requests.

10. Will you collect my carpet?

Envirotile can take collections of carpet tiles from retailers, banks, office blocks and many other locations when clients are looking at their refurbishment opportunities. We are highly competitive when compared to landfill, plus you’ll be doing the right thing by diverting what was a waste onto a second life!

11. What’s this about Social Enterprise?

A community interest company (CIC) is a type of company introduced by the United Kingdom government in 2005 under the Companies Act 2004, designed for social enterprises that want to use their profits and assets for the public good.CICs are intended to be easy to set up, with all the flexibility and certainty of the company form, but with some special features to ensure they are working for the benefit of the community.
